Pezze di Greco and Fasano

Pezze di Greco is a hamlet of Fasano. It takes its name from an old manor farm, which once covered the whole territory, belonging to Greco family, who dealt with the cultivation of vegetables, wheat, barley and oats in large areas of land called "pezze".
The hamlet hosts during the Christmas time one of the most famous Italian living crèche, in which the whole population participates actively.

Fasano is a city in the province of Brindisi, a few kilometers from the sea, known for some places of interest such as the Zoosafari, the first wildlife park in Italy, some holiday resorts as Selva di Fasano, Torre Canne and Savelletri, fortified farms which territory is rich and the Archaeological Park of Egnatia.
